Are there any people here who attended Helen Keller Day Camp in New York from 1993 to 2002, Camp Abilities in 1999 or 2000, Adorondack Experience in 2002, Space Camp for the Blind in Huntsville Alabama in 1999, the Batavia Weekend program in 2002, or the Perkins Outreach program in 2001? Just trying to get back in touch with people. And if you're a New Yorker, check in too. I know most of the people from my state on here, but I keep getting surprised. Thanks.

I attended the abilities thing in 2000, one of my better camp memories that one was.

Yeah that was fun wasn't it. I don't remember you. What group were you in? I'm guessing A. I was in B.

Ah looking for the old friends from camp eh? Thats gonna be kinda tough. I tried it and managed to find 6 of my friends a few years later. I was able to find three people in the little student directory my instructor made for me. I'm unsure if everyone else got one. The other 3 were later found on the internet. One was on HB, the other on the old hotmail people find and the third one on yahoo messenger. So it's hard, but if you're willing to commit to this kind of thing and prepare yourself for what kind of changes your friends had made over the years. Well then by all means good luck and go for it.

Speaking of camp:

What has become of the marine sciences camp for high school students with disabilities that was tought by professors from W. Virhginia University, at the Wallops Island NASA Flight Center? I went in the summer of 1980 or 81.

Never heard of that one. Sounds cool though.

Yah, Wallops Island was a fun place to spend a hot, sunny July by the ocean. Oh, don't get me wrong, it weren't all fun & games. There was a lot of messy field work and tedious academics:).
